Does this cover every N64 game?

The library covers North American N64 releases. It is not a worldwide catalog; games released only in Japan or PAL regions are outside its scope.

What counts as Cart or CIB?

Cart means a loose cartridge. CIB means complete in box, with the original box and manual. In game details, track each type separately, including duplicates.

How does the wishlist work?

Adding a game to the wishlist clears its owned quantities. Adding an owned copy removes it from the wishlist.

Can I use my collection on another device?

No. Quantities, wishlist, and your ratings are stored in this browser on this device. There is no account or cross-device sync. Clearing site data removes them.

Which rating does sorting use?

The Rating sort uses the catalog’s score out of ten. Your stars are a personal score out of five and don’t affect sorting.

How reliable is my collection estimate?

PriceCharting USD reference ranges (date unverified) include a rounded margin. The estimate date is the latest complete published source check, including successful no-change checks. It means all stored bands contained the checked source estimates, not that the market was independently validated. An unavailable verification date is shown as unverified. Failed, partial, cached or held checks cannot refresh the date. Checks are proposed weekly and reach this site only after publication. They are reference estimates, not appraisals or measured sale ranges. Your total applies those ranges to your Cart/CIB quantities. Open a game’s PriceCharting link for current estimates.

Controller Pak saves

Why won’t my save file open?

Pak Reader opens full Controller Pak memory-card backups: exact 32,768-byte .mpk, .pak, or .bin images, and exact 36,928-byte DexDrive .n64 files. Cartridge saves (.eep, .sra, .fla) are different formats.

Does my save file leave my device?

No. Reading and repair run locally in your browser. Your save file is not uploaded.

Can it recover a damaged save?

It can restore redundant ID or allocation-table metadata from an unambiguous, checksum-valid copy. If no valid copy exists, or valid copies disagree, it stays read-only. It cannot recover erased saves or repair a game’s save contents.

How do I back up a real Controller Pak?

Use a compatible dumper or adapter to export a full Controller Pak backup, then open that file in Pak Reader. Check backup support for the exact device. These links search eBay.
